Humbaur at the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024

The leading international platform for buses, logistics, commercial vehicles and the transport sector, the IAA TRANSPORTATION, will be back in Hanover this autumn from 17 to 22 September. Under the motto ‘People And Goods On The Move’, visitors can discover innovative transport systems and climate-neutral logistics solutions. Humbaur will be showcasing its innovative vehicle bodies at its own stand as well as those of its partners.

The Humbaur vehicle bodies stand for innovation and versatility for distribution transport. No matter which base vehicle you choose, the bodies are customised for a wide range of commercial vehicle models. Two of them can be discovered at the Humbaur and Kögel stands, others at partner stands.

FlexTip - three-way tipper body with maximum payload for all types of bulk goods

The FlexTip three-way tipper body is not only built for maximum robustness, but also offers maximum flexibility. Thanks to the three-way tipping function and the 45° tipping angle, it can be loaded quickly and is available for various vehicle models and applications thanks to its flexibility in length, width and height. The bridge plate and frame are fully hot-dip galvanised and therefore optimally protected against rust and corrosion. The electric tipping function can be conveniently controlled via app and work lights ensure good visibility as standard. Eight retractable lashing points and the airline rail on the steel grid attachment guarantee optimum load securing. A new remote control in a revised design is now also included as standard. This no longer needs to be connected to the vehicle, but can be conveniently operated from inside the cab. As an additional feature, four buttons can be freely programmed.

Trade fair innovation: RoadBox

Just in time for the trade fair, Humbaur has made its tipper body even more user-friendly. The FlexTip is now available with an optional RoadBox from Logic Line. The special storage box is mounted between the driver's cab and the tipper and, with two roller doors and built-in drawers, offers practical storage space for all the tools that should not be missing during transport.

However, Humbaur is not only focusing on expanding the product, but is now also offering the FlexTip for all larger transport projects for up to 7.5 tonne vehicles instead of just 3.5 tonne vehicles.

FlexBox Dry - vehicle body for dry freight

The vehicle body for dry freight can also be customised to suit any vehicle type and its tasks. For example, you can choose between numerous floor variants, wood or plastic-coated. From the wide range of accessories, the vehicle can be customised with a sandwich roof, a side door with step, reversing camera systems and various access variants. With insulated walls, doors and floor, refrigerated or even deep-frozen goods transport is also possible. All variants are weight-optimised so that a maximum payload can be achieved. The FlexBox can accommodate roller containers as well as E2 crates or pallets.

Humbaur can be found together with its sister company Kögel in hall 27 | F 14. Exhibits will also be on display at the partner stands of Volkswagen, Iveco Group, Renault and Stellantis.
